Ocean village only has one sea day a week, which is always the day after you board the ship.
Do you want to be more specific re whereabouts in the world you are looking to cruise? And then we can offer advise.
Tomson: 1 day at sea, every morning you wake in another country/city, westend style shows every night,..
You might think in a different way and ask which cruising area has more port calls and then the answer will be some of the cruises in the Med particularly those which start there ( Barcelona or Venice or Civitavecchia) also some that are in the Caribbean and start from Puerto Rico. Both of these have a large amount of ports close by and so it is easy to make up an itinerary. Neil Dow.
We have just done 12 days on the Baltic/Scandavian royal Carribean Jewel of the Seas. There were only three days at sea. One at beginning and two at end.
Had a wonderful holiday with them in April. Turkey, Greece and Cyprus.
Woke up every morning in a different por.
Oceania Cruises had very few sea says and also stays overnight in several port.
It all depends on where you cruise , the med is good as the distances allow a new port each day with usually only one day at sea, try NCL they are great if you like freestyle actio.
Why are you going on a cruise? The best time is at sea with just a few ports I do not want a port every day and I am getting a little tired of all the cruise lines doing a 'port a day' - it was wonderful when we did 3/4 ports in 14 days - there is nothing better than cruising the med for 2/3 days plus . I hate all the cruises with a port every day it is getting worse - cruise lines take note PLEASE.....
The distance between your destinations dictate how many days atsea - not the actual cruise line.We are going on a10 day Princess Cruise from Quebec to NY and only have 1 day at sea.
