This is probably not the helpful answer you were looking for. But may I suggest that you consider taking a ferry over to the British mainland - many friends have done this (in the opposite direction) and it is supposed to be very quick and the benefit is that you can move on to one of the many ports on the British mainland that will offer the type of cruise you're looking for. You might consider this a little arduous but I promise you that once you've spent a week or two cruising, you'll think that it was worth it. Whatever you do, I hope your wedding day goes well and I wish you all the best. Tim.
