Yes cruise lines have a single supplement on cabins which is quite large! For example- Princess cruises Sea Princess, inside cabin- price difference £400 for a single occupancy.
Where can i find a cruise to suit a man of 75 years young at a price i can afford (1200pounds) for say 10/14 days med or Caribbean. thanks, Arthur south wales.
I cruise as a single (with P&O) all the time and have paid single supplements from 0% to 60%. The secret with single supplements is to book as soon as possible. In P&O's case they only seem to have a limited number of cabins in each grade for single occupancy, and when these are sold the single supplement ramps up quite quickly. Also the low supplements i.e. less than 50%, tend to be available only later in the year from late October through to early December, but there are still some fine cruises too choose from.
