Burrows - Answered a Question by Bramham (16 Jul 08 19:54)

I think that you have answered your own question, don't you? The first sign of a ship being transfered is that she disappears from future brochures. I have not noticed this rumour circulating myself, and have certainly not heard anything official on the subject as of now! Happy cruising.

Thank you for your comments and yes I suppose I did answer my own question in some respects but I asked a question on this site at the end of june about the sea princess (which we are sailing on in november this year) and I had a reply saying that to enjoy my cruise on her as next year she is going to ocean village so just wondered if anyone else had any more information on the subject. Happy cruising to you too.

I think they may be getting a little confused, and were in fact refering to the fact that the ship will be leaving her current home port of Southampton and transfering back to the West Coast of the USA next year. I think I heard exactly the same rumour concerning the Oceana and Ocean Village the other day! Happy cruising.
