You've had it good for too long! Smoking is not socially acceptable anymore and policies have been changing towards it for a while now, so why the surprise? Do yourself a favour and give up!!!!

Yes.... it is fair right and proper. For goodness sake get a life that doesn't hang around an addiction, just listen to yourself, do you control your life or does it? Neil.

Interesting to see you think I smoke. Actually you couldn't be more wrong and I suggest you don't insult people on an assumption which couldn't be further away from the truth with an answer even further away from the question!!! Firstly, I do not smoke, and to be quite honest do not like being around smoke. Secondly, I do feel that if you make enquiries and then book a cruise on the understanding that you will be able to smoke in certain areas, it is only 'fair, right and proper' that you be allowed a refund if the conditions are changed. After all, how would you feel paying a considerable amount of money for the pleasure of being denied something you enjoy!! - Neil, ever heard the phrase 'treating customers fairly'??

Mr Matwiejczyk seems to be asking a GENERAL question and doesn't appear to be refering to ANY particular cruise line from what I can see. He certainly has not indicated any particular one in his comments. Since he does not even smoke himself, then it obviously would not effect him if all the cruise lines announced that they were going totally non-smoking tomorrow! Having said this, I think that P&O is the main cruise line that is coming under fire in this particular little discussion if that is of any help? Happy cruising.

Thank you Burrows. At last someone has realised I was asking a general question.

Mr Hunt has already stated that HE WAS offered his money back, which he refused! That sounds pretty fair to me? Happy cruising.

I think that you should be sent a very large wooden spoon, this one I have really enjoyed and I don't mind if you send me a smaller one. I find it very strange though that most of the hackles have, on this occasion, stayed down. So hear's to the next time. ....Neil.

Matwiejczyk, Where are you actually coming from? Your question is flawed by the fact that NO Major Cruise Line has totally banned smoking, so until they do, where's the validity in your grouse. Personally, although I/We don't smoke, I couldn't give a monkey's if people do, wherever they are. So why did you ask it? I suspect because you wanted to create a bit of bad feeling & wind people up.
