Wine on Celebrity Is Expensive. 5* Line 5* prices. You won't see much below $40 & $40+ is the norm. Then of course 15% Gratuity is added on.

I use Celebrity a lot and the cost can be as low as $25 dollars just be selective. We mainly buy in the $27-$32 region and so far not gone up to the $40+ prices and yes 15% is added. If you were didning out back home you would probably have to pay £12-£18 for a reasonable wine and that it nearly equivalent to the price on the ship. You must also realise you are in a 4/5 star dingroom and back home the wine would be as much if not a lot more than on the ship given the dollor is around 1.95 to the pound. I have never been stopped taking wine onto a Celebrity ship so far, but just for drinking in our stateroom, so not encoutered any limits.
