I think the reason you have no replies is because you have given too little information. Some of us will go the extra mile and try to work it out but with this one it's too open. I will however try to give you a broad answer. If you are taking a route which goes from the UK to Fort L. and it uses the northerly route across going to say Bermuda or even Nassau then in October the weather at the beginning of the journey, probably 4 days will be dubious and it will be worse in November Approaching the Bahamas then expect the first three days to be inclement. If you are going from the Med. and taking a more southerly route then you can expect sunny and good weather once out of the Med and the same applies to going from the UK once you have reached the Canaries. In Fort L. the weather in October should be in the 80s'F (29'C) and it will drop to the high 70s'F (26'C) in November. There are times when high winds even hurricanes can come in during October and less unusually in November. regards....Neil .
