Hello We cruised with Royal Caribbean a couple of years ago and did a 9 night cruise to the Western Caribbean from Newark NJ. We lovee good old English grub, but apart from never touching anything that eat my plants, there's not much we won't eat! There was such a huge variety of meals to choose from everyday, I really don't think your husband would have a problem. On the Voyager we had a choice of restaurants. During the day there was a self service restaurant, with dishes inspired by other countries, together with all manner of vegetables, and chips, rice, pasta, noodles and so, on. Then you could take a choice of different salad ingredients. Then there was the plain and simple stuff, like steaks, chicken, burgers and bangers, etc. On top of all this, if you do have any particular dietary requirements, you only have to ask! That restaurant is open for lunch from about 11.00 to 3.00pm. Then it closes for 30 minutes to recoup and recover and opens again at 4.00pm for afternoon tea! In the evenings, you can go to that restaurant again if you wish, and choose from another range of freshly prepared foods, similar range on offer to the lunchtime menues. Alternatively you can go to one of the ship's waiter-served restaurants where a table is reserved for you automatically. There you get your own table staff who will be able to recommend stuff off the menu to suit your family's tastes. I do hope this helps and enjoy your cruise.
