Find Your Cruise
Tips, drinks plus 15% gtatuity aotomatically added.
All your meals and most onboard entertainment covered, including gym. You pay for trips, excursions, staff tips, bar, hair and beauty, casino. If there is an onboard restaurant such as Johnny Rockets you pay there also - eat free in the dining room or Windjammer 24/7. All info on the rccl website www.rccl.com.
Everything is included in the price, except drinks and wine on board. There is a restaurant that you can visit and pay extra, but believe me, the food on board is superb, so unless you want to lash out on a 'special' occasion, there is absolutely no need to do so. Your only other expense is when you leave the ship and go sightseeing. Here too it is far better to do 'your own thing', rather than go on the ships tours, which frankly are a rip off!
Enjoy youselves, cruises are the best holiday you can have. Believe me!!
The excursions are very expensive, but you can do your own thing, also the drinks and cocktails and spar/hairdressing is extra. Also allow for tipping at the end of your cruise, unless it states it is included,
and there are shops on board for perfume/jewlery, cloths cigs/drink etc.
Your cabin accomodation and all meals (including morning coffee, afternoon tea, midnight buffet etc) are included in cruise prices. You will have to pay for alcoholic drinks, any drinks from the bar, laundry facilities and tips at the end of the cruise. You normally have to find your own way to your departure point and pay for any parking.
We looked at the price of wine + 15% and decided to book pre cruise the wine and dine package, we paid £201 for 12 bottles of wine which included the 15% and was very pleased with our package. You can purchase smaller amounts.
You cannot buy drinks on shore and take them to your cabin, they are taken as you board ship and returned on the last day, but if you pre book the drink package you can take your wine from the Dining Room to your cabin and any full bottles left by the last day you can take home.
Everything you pay for is in $ and we found this worked out very good on gifts and shopping on board items, cigarettes are $22 for 200, but most are American Brands.
Jewellery is also very good value, as is perfume ect.
