Type your answer here... Good morning 'Mac', how lovely that you are going to the Arctic - I'm sure you'll like it. As in the rest of Norway, the weather in the Arctic can be very variable and unpredictable - sunny, overcast, misty, wet etc. However, whatever the weather, what is guaranteed is the temperature - COLD! You will need to take the kind of clothes you would wear here on a cold winter's day, including hat and gloves. At the North Cape the midnight sun ends on July 31st, after which the daylight hours do ahorten but in August it will probably be light most of the night. Hope this helps. Have a wonderful cruise - hope the weather stays good for you! Regards - Jane.

Have been right up to North Cape (well inside Arctic Circle) in summer, and had it anything from bitterly cold to very warm (approx 20 degrees)within 24 hours, so take some warm clothes as well as light stuff. It really is quite unpredictable, but you must be prepared.
